[Commission] I designed the radiant species.
I liek dwagons. Rwawr. This one is going to try to zap that bird. It is an adolescent, and probably hungry, since this species of dragon fends for itself upon birth.
This was very hard to finish, because halfway through I accidentally saved after flattening and shrinking it by half to create a progress thumbnail. I had to continue the project using a blown up, pixelated, flat canvas. It was horrible. Anyway. That is why the image is so tiny. :( I am sorry. Also. I want a butterfly bird. You should get me one. :) Let me know when the genetic experimentation is underway.

Wow. O.o You're really good at stalking me. Yes, I designed the Radiant species for Dragons of the Nine Realms last summer. It was actually a lot of fun coming up with a species that controlled lightning, since I used solar energy through their horns and special scales coming off of their heads, much like the scales on butterflies. This image is from when I worked on the juvenile card, but I've changed tidbits since then. If you check out their home page, you'll see a comic I doodled of a lad acquiring a pet dragon. My name is on that, too. I did some other work for them, too, but complications arose in my family life and I was unable to continue working on the project.
