Rising up from the water, the dragon approaches you. Its fins are swept back, its scales glistening, its eyes inquisitive. If you befriend it, will you ever be able to let it go?
This delicate cross-hatched pattern in this mask suggest layers of skin and scales spanning between the thin raised spines, which sweep back and up with a suggestion of wings. The green color and glossy shine are reminiscent of seaweed growing in a dark lake, a perfect camouflage for a water-dwelling dragon.
Made of 4-5 oz vegetable tanned leather, it comes with a leather cord to knot in the back. The mask is cut with a laser cutter, providing highly accurate cut patterns. It is hand-dyed, then carefully wet-formed to give it its unique shape. Finally, a glossy acrylic coat is applied to help it resist dirt and water.
