Speedpaint 4-18
Time: 5 Hours.
I think a few speedpaints might help me loosen up a little, and help refine my technique.
I normally spend weeks on the large pictures I do, but I think it is easy to over-work things, and waste time re-doing things. So, I took a different approach with this piece, and finished it within the day!
Whoo! :D

Sorry, but I thought it was fairly obvious.
'Literally' means that it is actually true word for word, as stated. If you really start crying IRL every time this guy posts something, I recommend seeing a therapist
And for the record, my comment was a movie quote, so pointing out WHICH word would have ruined it

Ah I see. Well I just find his art rather stunning, and expressing such emotions is in fact perfectly normal. It is in fact societal pressure to not express those emotions that leads to an individuals requiring therapy.
Also I'm already having therapy, to battle my depression. Its not very helpful if I'm honest, as most therapists that I've encountered seem top be set in this idea that everything is my mothers fault, even though it isn't.
I see...well I lack social skills to a great degree as I have had very little need to refine them.

Well, I think we all find Chromamancer to be an artist of spectacular caliber, so that much we're in agreement on.
As far as your social skill goes, not meaning to be rude, but it might be helpful if you go back to look at your post and see if you can identify which parts of it I didn't need to know and were really none of my business. Once you know that, you'll be further on your way to acquiring a new skill - always a worthy pastime

I don't really find it a meaningful one, since I've dealt with people both politely and bluntly upon their request and have received rather negative attacks from people. Usually I find giving people a level of [personal information that identifies something about me explains my social awkwardness much quicker than attempting to go through the social dance that is polite conversation, where it in the end leads me to messing up because I've never been in a situation before and the individual I talk to expects me to react exactly like them.
"I've never been in a situation before and the individual I talk to expects me to react exactly like them."
Every living human has experiences like that.
Collectively, we call it learning. I would advise you to get into as many of these awkward situations as possible - after all, that's how Richard Feynman did... well, almost everything XD And he was one of the smartest men on record, so he couldn't have been too far off

We learn from our lives, and if I haven't been in a situation then I haven't been in a situation. I for example, don't like alcohol at all...so i don't go out with people to get drunk, which most people seem obsessed with, so i don't socialize much because of it.
I have, I've been blocked by an artist on 2 sites for favoriting their art. There reason was the amount of notifications, but that still seems to work against sites like this. I've also been in awkward enough situations offline and people haven't been very helpful so no-one helped me deal with it. So because I was somewhat on my own with dealing with these situations I haven't been given the feedback required to improve my social skills. Heck i've even asked what about what i'd done was so bad and gotten verbal abuse in response.

I usually have at least 1920 by 1080 versions available for download over on my DA account: http://chromamancer.deviantart.com/gallery/
Last time I checked, they broke the FA page formatting terribly, so I've been uploading smaller versions over here, though.

Wow, this is even more stunning than the nose-touching picture I commented on first :D
How did I manage to miss out on your outstanding artwork?
I must watch you, your dragons are perfect and I love the way you compose your art.
This more comic-book-like style is also very recognizable.
I don't find any commission info on your page and I also read a comment by you that you are a slow artist. I assume you're not doing commissions which is a pity. But I do enjoy your art a lot and I'll keep an eye out for the day you might be opening for a few commission slots - even if that might be a very unlikely thing to happen, I don't care :D
You're great^^

Thank you very much.
I'm honored to hear that you enjoy my art.
One of the reasons that I haven't been doing commissions, is that I frequently spend a LOT of time on things like this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9356807/
My normal pieces probably take me around 50 to 60 hours, so they take me several weeks to finish.
I've been doing some much faster speedpaints lately, and if I can do a good enough job with these, I might take commissions with the speedpaint style, or something...
I haven't decided to open those up yet, though.
