i can make a mourning dove like noise by cupping my hands and blowing into them, and when I was younger I used to sit outside and "talk" to them

I actually had a morning dove for a few years. I used to rescue and rehabilitate parrots, so when I found that morning dove outside with a cracked skull... I patched him up and kept him. He lived with my Doubled Yellow Handed Amazon. They snuggled with each other.
