A quick sketch I did on the 26th, as a lil gift for 
dal just for being lovely and awesome. Wound up throwing some color on it and stuff ^_^
EDIT: Ok, thanks to some of the suggestions of
dasAoD I've made the character clearer and more refined so he didn't seem out of focus.

Bloody hell! I never knew Dal could look so hot! <3333 Great work, UV. I love the expression, the pose, and just the general way you drew him. He looks just gorgeous :D And all that combined with your amazingly keen eyes and attention to detail is just... superb. Wonderful work ^^
Great overall quality, as usual, however I can't help but be bothered by the fact that the background appears more defined and textured than the actual character. Makes him look kind of blurry and out of focus, in comparison. It would probably be enough to just use a sharpen filter on the character and/or increase the contrast a bit.
Yeah I know exactly what you mean. Im just not sure how to go out making it sharper in compariosn to the bg, at this point. Without losing that nice grainy texture in the bg. I did actually sharpen the character up some :P

I upped the contrast a touch and applied a sharpen filter, as I suggested, then added a layer with some additional texture on top. Of course it's just a rough edit, but I hope it helps illustrate what I'm talking about.
Basically, if you want a sharp, defined background ( and I liked the background ) you also have to define the character/ foreground even further. Just increase the contrast, add more definition/ texture - Whatever it takes. But the character ( or whatever else the focal point may be ) should be at least as defined, or more so, as the rest of the piece.

And I can definitely see the improvements you did on this, it looks amazing! So much crisper and Dal stands out from the background much bettter!
You better watch yourself though hun, you improve much more and you might just propel yourself out of the universe!
