As far as I know, Aury was created by a scientist of some sort and he grew up in a tank like that... But maybe you can ask Aurindrix for further details. =)

wow, for someone who says they aren't good at sci-fi equipment, this is amazing xD Far greater then I coudl ever hope to achieve. It looks really good, and the background has a nice, almost surreal look to it. Kudos to you :)

Its good. The techt stuff is good to. Since you did dark and the green lights do the tech effect well. The only thing I could point out not so good is the bottom of the tube. The oval part is higher then the horizon in mind, but maybe the tube floor ment to be like that.

I wonder why I didn't see it myself... Oh, crud. Perspective has never been my strongest point. I would fix it if I had any idea how. I hope Aurindrix isn't too upset about that. Anyhow, I'm glad you pointed it out. I surely won't make the same mistake twice.

If you hadn't mentioned your aversion to making Sci-Fi equipment, I would have never noticed. But now that you draw my attention to it, I must say it is rather . . . good. I think it is very fitting. Nothing feels quite off about the gadgets. :3

But what I love is the feeling the background gives. The eerie out-of-focus rusts and blacks coupled with the pipes just oozes with foreboding and does a great job of leaving the viewer with that feeling when looking over the whole piece.

I'm glad you like the background! I tried to make it slightly Silent Hill-ish and vague 'cause I was afraid of drawing more gadgets. The tank alone was quite a struggle.

Hmmm. For some reason I haven't done much fanart in general - unless it has something to do with the characters of my friends and so on. Maybe I could give it a try. It would certainly be something new.

It's quite easy to make blue lines sparkle. If you want, I could for example try to edit your Tron lion with a simple screening layer to make the lines glow. I mean, just for you privately, in case you'd like to see how it looks like. I think it could be done.

I was kinda thinking of drawing some sort of character with glowy tattoos, because I've seen those a lot here in FA and they would be nice to experiment with.

Umm, hmm hmm... About five or six hours in total? I'm terribly slow when it comes to colouring. It's easier to colour fully inked pictures, but this was done partially in pencil.

Oooh you did a really awsome job with the Sci-Finess, I like machinery but I haven't messed with it alot my self, I want to cause I always enjoy how people pull it off.

This was my first even remotely technical picture in years... Tubes and such are easy to draw, but when it comes to perspective I'm utterly lost. Same goes for architecture, cars, planes... And anything man-made and technical. <=)
