Oh, well backstabs are a cheap way to output a LOT of damage, and Darkroot forest is where most people go for PvP. Since I have a high-agility character it's easy for me to maneuver around and get someone's back. And with the way I built my character it does TONS of damage. So people call me cheap and noobish since I'm not really fighting, just looking for openings in their defense. It gets me souls, so I don't really care :D
Not do downplay your chances but there's a lot more people who're familiar with the lore and style of the game, so it's pretty slim :X
2 is looking amazing though, they really fixed a lot of the AI issues that were in the first (despite being a balls-hard game, some of the AI is extremely stupid and exploitable) and dual wielding actually looks like a viable option now.
