Arcanine Loves Jelly, Right?
Yeah, this one seems to be getting a bit more than it would probably like >.>
Hahah, it's almost like a Trainer was pumping jelly out on to the floor to make a huge mound of it, thought it looked cool and decided to throw their Arcanine onto it so it would become partially engulfed, and was then like "HERE ARCANINE I'M FORCING YOU TO EAT THIS IT'S YUMMY, HURR"

Aw thanks! Truth be told it's not actually quite finished yet, I just really wanted to upload it before I went to work...bad Enigma! XD
I did have way too much fun with the jelly, and the belly was satisfying once I made it look decent enough. I think I shall definitely be drawing Arcanine again...one normal and one sort of pudgy, but no where near as round or big as this ha!

You're welcome! :3 Well, even if it's not finished, I can see that it looks great, and I can't even begin to imagine how great this will look should you decide to complete it (which I sincerely hope you will. <:3)
There's nothing wrong with having fun with art! X3 Isn't that the main point? It is for me. :3 I'd love to see more Arcanine. Admittedly, I'm not as clued up on Pokemon as most users here are, but I know an Arcanince when I see one. Because tiger colours...nearly. XD

There are just a few parts that haven't been filled in with the jelly effect properly yet, and I may make the lineart thinner and neaten it up a bit. I will get the hang of making digital inking look smooth and crisp one day!
Oh there will definitely be more Arcanine...I know not everyone appreciates pudgy art, and plus I just want to draw a normal sized one anyway. As for the newer Pokémon, besides the likes of Mightyena and Reshiram you're not really missing much...

Ah, I think I see what you mean. I think if you were to return to this piece, though, and complete the jelly effect, it would look fantastic. :3 A thinner lineart sounds like an interesting modification as well, although I can imagine that that would involve a heck of a lot of work. :3 If I were in your shoes, I'd be tempted to leave the lineart as it is at the moment and finish on the jelly effect, then use what you've learned about the lineart for future pieces. :3
