So... I have been marathoning MLP:FiM on youtube all day. I am becoming one of them... lol... and I think I am kind of in love with Fluttershy... she speaks to the motherly hippie within me lol <3 That's why as anthro, I picture her with ample breasts... It's not so much that as it is due to her personality. I understand that it's cliche for shy characters to have large breasts. I don't know the origin, but even the non-furry artists draw her large.

Indeed, I have seen this... for me though.. it's more coz I see her as being "motherly" ..and... the whole breastfeeding thing... wagh, I feel really weird having this conversation LOL xD

Her being 'motherly' also seems to be a big reason for ppl to draw her with monster tits.
There are plenty of mothers with flat chests, though *coughAuntGlendacough*

Blame it on the anime. It's always very typical for the shy, clumsy girl to have large boobs because it makes for really easy humorous situations when the main character is usually a shy male with a crush on the girl. I think it's so ingrained at this point that people just default to it.
