Yes. I really don't like using GIMP - it felt like bad versions of my current photoshop setups (home and at work) with hobbles on, 2 or 3 versions of PS old.
Plus I use Imageready religiously now to hack down the size of my PSD's for web display without things getting too craptastically lossy.
If I were forced to download free graphics software, and if I never planned on doing pieces for print (using PS's CMYK support), I might use GIMP instead.
