I made this letteropener about... what is it...3 years ago... yea. I made sure the scan was dark so you could see all the detail in this piece of work. It's made of alpeca and the picture in the bottom left corner shows the real color... though it's actually shining like silver in real life. Yay for school projects.

The metal I have used is called alpaca silver and the technique is quite easy . It the same technique you use for etching. I have no idea what the brown stuff you use for covering the alpaca before you actually start the etching is called in English though... ^^; I'm sorry. You'd have to ask some art shops.
