Hahaha well he is kind of based off a Digimon, but it's Gabumon that I kind of took the elements off of. Also I get asked the question what does he look under his mask a lot and I reply with that he's too adorable for mortal eyes to comprehend which is why he wears the skull.
Hahhh <3 yeah, I was thinking of that one episode where gabumon takes off his pelt and when the camera goes back to gabumon they're just... this shining light (the cave opening)

Yeah! I vaguely remember that ep. since I think I was only able to see it once (it was on a horrifyingly bad time slot and usually interfered with my childhood shenanigans). I think the one burned into my memory was when Gabumon Digivolved and forever stole my heart since prior to that I thought that it was just a Pokemon clone. Oh how wrong I was.
