Dream imagry of mine.
I was in a ravine, with sides so high the bottom was cold. On both sides natural indentations had been scraped out in tiny compartments. Some had bones visible inside others scraps of cloth, bits of broken glass, one had a lumpy clay mug obviously painted by a child.
So I'm wandering up and down trying to find a way out. Eventually I curl up and go to sleep... at which point a badger shows up puffing on his pipe, and wakes me up by thumping me between the ears.
The long and the short of it;
I ask what the place is, and he explains each nook is a grave, a forgotten burial, and that I'm supposed to remind people they're there.
When I explained I didn't know HOW... he thumped me again and called me a stupid scavenger. *laugh*
Which I am I suppose, since I didn't realize that in some way by drawing the scene, I'd done exactly what he'd told me to do.
