This is a commission for my good friend, Sariff. He's a red jackal (not a fox), with a penchant for making sugary goodness. Here he is with his stainless steel oven peel and mixing bowl (there's also suppose to be a rolling pin, wire whisk, and a cutting knife, but they are not in this depiction). He can call open oven-hot fires to bake his dough, and maybe even make giant cookie golems of doom. Doom, I say.
I had quite an experience creating this. The conception was very basic, the only real change was that he was supposed to be shaking a wire whisk at the fourth wall, but that would've been beyond my skill level. I also like how I drew this face in this, it's a first for me. And finally, PhotoStudio was being a real b*tch while trying to draw this. However, it all turned out for the better, because I learned much in the ways of digital art. Needless to say, I'm overjoyed with how this came out. The only real humbug I have is that he doesn't have a shadow beneath him. Oh well. >..>

I can understand that. As much as I hate them, if I had a chef picture done, they'd have to be in it. o.O They're part of the required uniform for my culinary school, and many others, as well as a lot of professional kitchens. I forget the actual reason for it, so I just say it's a conspiracy to make us look like dorks. xD
damn dude, you did an awesome job on this. you got the uniform just right [fantastic checker job i must say] the peel looks fierce and the bowl looks better then i originally thought. no worries about the other stuff because they were all potential ideas without making this look TOO busy. the claws and tail are great and the facial expression is just right.
in other words... i likes it very much *hugs and wags* ^^
