Alright. So 
TaniDaReal did an awesome art piece for 
Nachtfuchs's spare Jeep tire cover and I have wanted to do something similar for the one I am thinking about getting. I have worked really hard on this piece to get it here so far. Lots of traditional and pencil work to scan to the computer. *NOW* Yes, this is extremely close to Tani's style, however this is not traced! I really like her style as an artist because for some reason her cartoon style is what I can really relate to as what I see in cartoons. I have been trying to mimic her style because I like it so much. Maybe one day it will evolve into my own version, but I like it so far. I did use some of her work as references because I still fail at anatomy, but please don't say I copied. I worked really hard on this piece to get it this way.
Anywho.....yeah! This is the project that I'm working on to hopefully put on my near future Jeep that I am looking at. Hope you all like it!

Well, with Tani's picture and mine, they don't really use a background. It's just simple shading to make the pose look 3D. It's also getting the pose just right which I have found to be a pain. I looked through your gallery and you do a lot of good work. Just keep practicing! I find that watching a bunch of tutorials and just repeating the steps over and over and over again really helps. Draw one eye based on the tutorials instructions and then regardless of how it looks in comparison, draw another and another. Drawing really is one of those skills that needs practice and repetition to improve. Look through her gallery. Towards the end she did a 10 year improvement picture that blew me away. She was doing work similar to mine before she got to this style. It was a good booster to helping me realize that it is possible with practice!!
