That was by far my favourite chapter. So much development for Birch and just the whole tone had me conflicted part of me wanted to be mad at Birch but the other part felt really sorry for him and just wanted to see him get better, ultimately the second one won out of course but still it was probably the greatest chapter of all time, of all time!
