Also; At what age do you recommended bathing your snakes? Mine are about a year old and need to start getting regular baths.

Personally I find he doesn't need regular baths. The humidity level here is about right for him, and I have a water bowl large enough that he can bathe himself if he chooses, so the only time I bathe him is when he's gotten himself filthy, which is what happened here.

Yes the tail tips. If I had to guess I'd say male too. I had one with a shorter more sharply tapered tail and so I assumed she was a girl.

That is not really a guarantied way of checking their gender though, some females look like males and some big males may look like females if you look at their tail only o.o

You can't actually tell their gender from their tail tips. When a female carries eggs she is fat and the tail ends more abruptly, but when she is not she may look identical to a male, the difference may be body size - females most of the times have a larger, wider, body than the males. The only way to tell for sure is checking 'down there' though, since there are big fat males and small thin females.

This makes me miss my snake.

He really is gorgeous though. Perhaps a little spoiled too? Getting the whole tub all to himself and not having to move a muscle to get squeaky clean.

And I think your snake is a female, personally, but until someone checks it or you place it with a male during mating season and see if there is any action going on, we'll never know :3

I'm gonna see if I can find a normal female to breed to my spider, because I have the nagging feeling that he is hiding something, and the only way to prove him out is to breed him xD He will have at least two girlfriends during the next breeding season :3 'dem babies are so cute *w*

Aww how cute! I had to bathe Stig the other day, he had decided to dart into my husband's hair which had rustoleum on it from work. That was a pain, corns don't seem to take to bathing well at all. XD I ended up letting him slither through a damp towel a few times and that worked.
Feeding strikes are the worst thing, Stig is also refusing to eat because he wants a lady-snake.

He's not on a strike, exactly. He's just being unusually picky, so I'm only getting a meal into him about half as often.

Ahhh well that's better than not eating at all I guess. Stig just up and decided to stop eating, but he got a bit chubby over the winter so I'm not worried.
