From left to right:
Asian wear- when I was researching male Japanese kimonos I read that they are mostly black. However Jandan's favorite color (well, one of them) is green so I wanted to tie that in somewhere. I used his tiger signature on his clothing in various places to advertise his trademark, in the asian wear it is on his badges near his shoulder. He does have two legs, but the emphasis for me was the clothes. :) Crecent moons on his sword belt (the strap going across his chest) for a bit of whimsy.
Casual- jeans and two shirts. One is a long yellow sweater that is under a v-neck tshirt. I used color blocking as a bit of fun and applied his tiger trademark to the center. Around his waist is "Sailor Jupiter's" rose and potpourri belt. No shoes.
Assasin/Thief - I've had an idea for a patchwork jacket I've wanted to try out and then I LOVESUSPENDERS. I have a long sleeved navy blue turtleneck with a very dark blue version of his logo in the front underneath. His pants are striped gray/black. I gave him the option of pants tucked into boot and not tucked in. On his sweater will be straps inside the sleeve, so he can tie the sleeves up if needed for a special job. On his right hand is a utility weapon. Inside the farthest left tube is a skeleton key, a lighter, and then two stabity prongs. One is with poison and the other is just for a tranquilizer. When they arn't in use the glove can still be used as a weapon with just hand to hand combat. Bandana, cause he can. There are plenty of places to hide knives too. Oh and who can forget the tri-force necklace.
Dressy/Casual- I was going to do something formal- but I fail at tuxedos right now. I need a bit more practice with collars and layering...x..x Kahki pants with some black detail, black belt, red and white color blocked shirt that has his logo in red on the shoulder. Sailor Moon bracelet.
Art trade with jandan in progress. He wanted me to design him a few clothes similar to how I did my character Brittanu and because I've never drawn menswear like this before- I hope it is somewhat accurate. I do have a male mate, so I guess that helps a bit with button placement and crotch alignment. Not a pro though, but it does give a good idea and it is fun practice.
He wanted Asian wear, casual, thief/assassin, and formal. However my formal isn't a formal, its like a dressy casual. >.> Sorry, I suck at tuxedos. I did throw in small details of what the client likes, there is element of sailor moon and Zelda thrown around a bit.
