Alexa raises an eyebrow as she looks onto the training mech. Nose rinkled at the scent of ozone from the sparking wires. Harsh scent of oil intermixing with the scent of fried electronics.

"Fell off of another clift, did you?"

"Just get me out of here! Fast!"

Alexa then pulls out a screwdriver to release the access panel to the manual override on the cockpit doors....

Been working on this little piece over past few days. Wanted to do up something with a decent background to it. In doing so, kind of came up with a little story about a training exercise that went bad. All done with pencil and paper. Colour if/when it will happen would be digital, since can't get the effects i'd like with my traditional colouring tools. Hopefully did well with the design/plan for the mech and environment. Not your traditional mech with the pilot in the center. Pilot is off to the side from center to allow room for more of the mechanics of the mech. Assorted battle damage on the mech, which was interesting and fun to try to figure out. Alexa is the mech pilot's assigned mechanic, so some history between the two of them.
