This is funny as usual, but surprisingly, the resident jerkass has a point here.

Public displays of affection, outside of a porno shoot where the whole thing is staged and not actually public, tend to not be nearly as appealing for people to see, generally regardless of who the people involved are. Largely because outside or fictional media, making out in public is a good way to cause discomfort for a lot of onlookers.

As such, "get a room" really is a fitting response. The island bit, well, that's just rude and takes Electra back to being a jerkass who deserves what she got.
