The final for my Ancient Roman Art and Architecture class. I designed and painted this arch to "display my understanding of Roman Architecture". I have a written description to go along with it explaining all the proportions and the design choices and whatnot~
This painting took WAY longer than it needed to but I am happy with it. Here's hoping for an A!

I’ve seen pictures of Trajan’s Arch and a couple other Roman arches from around the Empire, but never thought of them as being painted -- but of course they probably were, just like the Greeks painted many of their statues.
Nice to see your rendering of one. TruNorth’s Arch, ready for a triumphal march-by of a couple of returning legions.
