Nice. I refuse to use bits altogether. Actually, even if you would want to do classical dressage or any of the fancy tricks you can still do everything without bits, even without any headgear.

Exactly! You are my kind of guy! :D Me and some friends of mine see it the same way. In general, we believe in giving the horses as natural life conditions as possible, and to work with them without any violence, building a relationship based on mutual trust.

Sadly tho I don1t have much experience myself because I can't afford horse keeping. It's very expensive here, especially without your own land. I used to work with friends' horses or horses the owners had issues with... but that was long time ago. :(
