This is my submission for  mirromy's pic and writing contest. I wanted to just show a brief snippet into the life of my deep sea mirromy, Calise. It's pretty brief, and I felt really intimidated while writing for a world and species that not everything has been revealed for. I made up a couple of species, as well as some words. I hope I didn't screw anything up ^_^;

Also lame titles are lame, sorry.

(1) Eruu-oony: Whip-tail. Nothing creative about this, really. Eruu means whip, Oon means tail.
(2) Aeph-oriiny: I struggled with naming this creature quite a lot, since there was no word on the Mirromy wiki that I felt adequately described what I wanted Calise's kind to imbue in this eel. I really wanted to call it Nightmare Eel, but there was no similar words to either concept, so I pulled some things together. Aeph is the Mirromy word for fake/false. I wanted the second part of the word to mean terror or fear, so I imagined the kind of noise that a Mirromy would make when they were frightened. Orii was as close as I could think without making it just Rii, which has its own established meaning. I hope that makes sense o_0
