This was down as a gift for  Kasune ! He's a sweet guy and he seemed to really like that piggy-bank girl design, so I thought as a surprise I'd try to make one for him as a gift. I didn't want it to be too similar to the one I'd already made, so I decided to go for more of a translucent glass body... but then I realized the head I designed didn't really fit, and it morphed into this! Haha.

This is one of those funny cases of how your influences can sneak into your art. I only noticed it after I designed her, but besides Kasune's love of koi fish, here are some other inspirations that contributed to this design:

-The bottle woman from Order of Tales

-Pamikoo's art

-Fausto's Bottle item from Gaiaonline/The Snake God from Okami/Numerous other round shiny flasks

-An old DnD character named Lorelei that I played during an Oriental Adventures game. I can't remember what race she was but essentially she was a were-koi, haha. She was worshipped in the village she lived in and was sought out for advice, and she ended up going on an adventure. She lived mostly in Koi form, so she had to be carried around in a big jug on one of the other PC's back.
