did this a year ago, still its relevent and allways will be. its pictures of well crimes against humanity, from slavery to vietnam. Because i think its importent that pepole never forget what has happend so it may never be done again. I actually met one who didnt know what the holocaust was, so i decied that i´ll make something to make pepole get it and not just the Holocaust but also the communism regim in russia. Because its importent that these forces must never size power for the sake of freedom.

The sad part is a lot of those men didn't seize power, they were *GIVEN* power. Like Hitler, he burns down teh reichstag and then makes a plea to be given sweeping powers to "fix teh problem".. in fact, something the patriot act II *TRIED* to do.. Before it was discovered that the document existed. by, guess whom? CHENEY! aaaayup.. Cheney wanted to pull a hitler.
Politics , as a topic of discussion allways sucks, because people become illogically impassioned about it. But the topic also serves to educate folks that those who WISH to be in power are invariably the least suited to HAVE power.

Fascinatingly enough, Hitler didn't have to burn the Reichstag; communists did it for him. Capitalizing on an event is not the same thing as perpetuating it and capitalizing is what Hitler did best. Your observation about those that seek power is spot on although it'd be nice if your comments about the Patriot Act were similarly insightful and informed. Oh well... no one's perfect!

Yeah, my comments on the patriot act were pretty uninformed. :) *sarcasm!*
Seriously, to beleive that the patriot act was passed for the "protection" of americans is falacious and uninformed, and naively trusting of those who crave absolute power. Fascinatingly, the details of the "hidden" patriot act waiting for "*cough* opportunity", was never made fully public with headlines in the new york times, etc.
The patriot act has been used to pretty much evicerate the constitution of the united states.
"those who would trade freedom for safety , deserve neither" ben franklin?

and yup, sorry about the misspeak on Hitler, found that just now in the Wikipedia, it had been my understanding that the brownshirts had been utilized to burn the reichstag, however, it was just rumor. But then, there's THIS kind of stuff to try and sort through as well in regards to the rise of hitler... rumor mongering? possibly, the only one who knows for sure though, died in a bunker in 1945

Yes, they were. Your citation that the USA PATRIOT Act (the first two words of the Act title are actually an acronym that means "Uniting and Strengthening America (USA) by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism (PATRIOT)" although it's also a clever title) is impressive for its dark and ominous claims that are neither cited nor supported by fact. Nice try, however... if only the writer's paranoia was equaled by his veracity. The assertion that it eviscerates the Constitution is proof positive that you have only heard what it does but not studied it yourself.
See now, I did go through the patriot act, and the problem that I saw with it wasn't so much that it was trying to "protect" the american people, but that it was written in such a way that all they had to do in any case was blame a person of being involved in a terrorist group in order to apply the "patriot" act to them. There was an expansion of that they prepared just in case an opportunity came by to steamroll IT through congress.. (yeah, taking advantage of opportunity, nothing like Hitler at all).. A summarization of the various sections of it are here.

And no, I haven't read it personaly.
To the point of being paranoid. I'm not paranoid, I'm informed. Paranoia is an unfounded or exagerated mistrust. Sadly there is no antonym of paranoia, though there should be. Though after *SEEING* the things the bush administration has done, I don't think my mistrust of them is unfounded. What I don't understand is why someone would beleive that a small handful of men in absolute power of this country, doing things like refusing to let one of their staff be subpoenad by congress.. and act for which there is absolutely *NO* precedent whatsoever, would trust them to have some plebian citizen's interests in mind. BTW... Once that expansion of powers was leaked, it got scrapped.
Nuff of that though, back to perusing porn.

Actually, even according to you citation, the person actually had to be breaking a law although the source you just cited claims that this means that anyone can be snatched off the streets and never heard from again, an absurd claim given their own definition of what section 501 says. I say, if you can't even be consistent with your own definition a sentence ago, it makes your entire assertions about the evil of a document rather suspect.
I did not say YOU were paranoia but that the writer you cited was; I still say that his paranoia isn't equaled by his veracity. I absolutely mistrusted the Bush Administration in many matters but not in those things where the mistrust had no basis. Despite media reports and the ranting of opposition groups, there is little Bush did that had no predecent in previous presidencies, previous presidencies, I might add, where the press didn't go ranting about supposed evils being done. I also have no illusions about who the government really cares about. That said, I believe what I see, not see what I believe.
Porn? Nah... it's too crappy. I hear Van Gogh did some great work with colors, though.
