Vortex, the pig supervillain, using his powers to inhale albatross superheroine Pratfall, intending to imprison her - alive - in the vortex in his stomach, and take her to his boss, Zoria Quimica. (Zoria prefers her prisoners alive and well so they can be converted to evil by The Mind-Eating Lion).

Vortex is a member of the skunk Zoria's team of supervillains. It's themed to the "six senses", and he loosely represents "taste."

Vortex is one of those quiet ones that you have to watch out for. He *can* talk, but he's more likely to grunt or mockingly lick his chops, and then eat you.

One drawback is that his vortex is so powerful, he might accidentally suck in his own teammates (which, even if he doesn't wind up eating them, can be rather distracting.) Also, it's possible that induced choking or a very strong heimlich maneuver could cause him to eject his prisoners, but it would have to be VERY strong, because as you can see, his tummy is quite a stronghold :).

That's an illustration of a black hole on his uniform, symbolising the actual vortex within. The bolts on the metal part of his uniform were probably inspired by the design of Mammoth from the Teen Titans cartoon.

Pratfall's power is imperviousness to injury. Projectiles, energy beams and physical attacks like punches, kicks and chops all have no effect on her. She can also crash as hard as she wants into whatever or whoever she wants, which is her usual method of attack. BUT SHE CAN BE CAPTURED. I debated whether or not her powers would prevent the distortion that allows victims to fit into Vortex's mouth from working on her, but maybe once she got that pulled that close to his mouth, it was powerful enough to work. Also, maybe that's why he had to grab onto her legs to prevent her from struggling. Also, she's smaller than him, and his mouth is pretty big.
