This photograph compares the UV reactivity of four white furs I had on hand. I planned on doing a full write-up about the differences between MM Fox, Arctic Fox and DF furs, but I haven't worked with them enough to be able to give any real practical information. The only info I've gathered is how they look.
BUT I'll post this for now. From left to right, it's Sparkle Fur, MM Fox, Arctic fox and DF or Luxury Shag fur. The sparkle fur was surprisingly lifeless under the blacklight, while the MM Fox only glowed a little bit. The Arctic Fox was CRAZY glowy, as was the DF. The MM Fox is more of a cream, so I am not surprised that it didn't glow too much. You'd think a fur as goofy as sparkle fur would be fun under a blacklight, but no! If UV reactivity is something you desire, go for the Arctic Fox or DF. (There has GOT to be another retailer for the Arctic Fox. Fabric Depot needs to get their goddamned online ordering fixed.)
