My character and one of the main characters of the ever unfinished story, Marduk.
Changed his design up a bit.
Not sure if I like him bare-pawed or if I want to give him footwear atm. Suggestions and opinions here would help (except from Kurisu).
Modified his armor a bit to make it more exoskeleton-y and to have more glowy bits. Copied some design idea's from Starcraft 2's Spectres.
Also ditched the hf swords for one big ass hf blade that's heavily inspired by Raiden's blade from Metal Gear Rising.
Switched up the shorts a bit. Less detail on the bottom, more detail on the top. Shirt I was pretty happy with, the off-center upside-down cross.
Added a form fitting undershirt.
Bandana style swanked out a bit more. Muzzle tattoo refined a tad.
Got rid of the black on his tail.
The idea is that Duke's dark toned fur is fading as he ages and the spikes on his cheeks become harder and more pronounced.
Also beefing him up considerably to keep him more physiologically in line with how he was in his first inception.

Followup, since I can type better at home:
Think of footwear as just another way to express designs. You're obviously good at that.
If it comes to an image, particularly a fight, consider the environment. Like cleats, bare paws would probably be great for natural terrain (and, as poster below said, offense), while shoes and such would be fitting for indoor/asphalt/whatever. Not that you can suddenly just put on shoes mid-battle because you crashed through a wall.

I agree. I just think drawing him without footwear would be a little strange in the context of the story if I didn't just draw all bersham characters barefoot.

Or make some cool cybernetic space boots with paw holes like the ones I made for Sergei's design.

All I can say is:

also I suggest that since it`s an aging pic of ya characther, of how it will look after some years or in the future, perhaps ya could make the clothes look futuristic like or that make him look more mature :3
