So, as I'm sure many of you are NOT aware of this fact, about two weeks ago I left my spectacularly shitty retail career behind to be a full-time freelance artist. That means any and all I money I receive is from you guys. My previous prices were enough to get me by when I also had a meager paycheck from my former occupation, however, with only my artwork supporting me, I have been finding it hard to make ends meet lately.
So, unfortunately, yes this does mean price increases. I feel horrible for asking more from you all, but I have been advised by many close friends that have experience in this business that I was already charging way too low for my quality of art. This was only further backed by my own research of artists of similar skill, who charged prices that made me nearly fall out of my chair. That being said, I do not plan to completely murder any prospective commissioners with sticker shock. Prices will increase, but you won't be handing over your first born or anything like that.
I will still be offering cheaper commissions (non-slotted), that will be simple, one character, unshaded pieces with a blank background. However, this commissions will not take priority over any slotted or auctioned commissions, and will be completed as time permits.
I sincerely hope you can all understand my reasoning behind this, and will continue to honor me with your service.

oh ya, and don't be scared to charge alot! It's usually better to charge higher then lower prices to find a good median. From what I found the best position to be in is to charge enough that by the time you finish the commission you have, the next one comes in. That way you have steady work and the most mulla
Honestly with your skill, style and attention to detail they are still very reasonable prices by my judgment (^. .^) I still know I want a few pics from you when I have the money and can grab a slot or two
So you don't need to justify your prices, its your job now and I greatly hope you get enough business and enjoy all the awesome art pieces to come
Quick question if I may, you have male and female pin up price, how would herms fit it? Or does it depend which they leak towards more? And are feral under the same price bracket ?
