This picture was drawn listening to this music. It is a fan art based on my favorite boss fight in one of my favorite games of all time.

And as some people are having sex and good times with their lover and all, our hero Rob Swiftclaw is busy being able to give them their chance to do so, by saving the planet!
Metal Gear REX. A walking bipedal tank that has the abilities to launch a stealth nuclear warhead anywhere on the face of the earth. A group of terrorists holds the entire world ransom with this dreadful weapon of mass destruction. Only Rob, can be the one to destroy this aweful weapon and save the world from nuclear terrorist. An epic battle between man and machine. It's armed with a pair of vulcan gatling guns, multiple anti tank missle launchers firing hellfire missiles, and a laser.
Rob, only armed with stinger missiles have to use his agility and speed to dodge the attacks of this walking deathmachine. Landing each shot of the stingers to hit perfectly.... he cannot afford to miss... each missile must count. The fate of the world rest in his hands. Can he destroy this monstrous machine all by himself?
Rob rolled to dodge a barrage of the vulcan cannons firing wildly at him, loading up another missile and firing it right at the heavily armed cockpit of the REX. The missile didnt even scratch its paintjob, and it only responded with a hellfire missile attack and another barrage of bullets from the spinning vulcan cannons.
His strenght is weakening, his arms tired, and legs shivering... but he cannot give up!

Nuclear submarines are a lot more stealthy than twelve meter tall mechs. Any maneuverability advantages they may have over tanks in rough terrain would be canceled out by their big, artillery-attracting profiles. And the Rex specifically has rather restricted firing arcs compared to most ground vehicles.
well, a nuclear submarine uses nuclear missiles to launch a nuclear strike. The missiles can be detected by the launch trail or the flare from the trail from the missile. However, the metal gear REX has a big railgun on its right arm that fires a nuclear warhead that doesnt have that trail that gives away it firing position.
In practical terms it wouldn't actually work because Rex's railgun has to dump all the energy to get the round into orbit into it in the couple of thousandths of a second it's actually inside the accelerator rather than over a two-minute boost phase like an ICBM, so (flubbing the figures a little) you'd be looking at an energy release equivalent to the detonation of about four tons of TNT whenever you fired the railgun.
Oh yeah, this indeed one of the coolest battlescene iv'e seen so far as furry art! It was a great idea to put a link to the music because the action comes over much better!
I really like the size ratio you put on Rob and the REX. It looks so hopeless to fight this walker with it's oversized armament ad it's giant being. I just hope Rob didn't get's injured too much! It seems to be stressful like hell to avoid the attacks.
As in nearly all your traditional artworks it's very impressive how you managed to draw the light- and shadings! It's so cool that even every single gatling bullet has it's own glowing effect and this is very great! I've barely seen any non-yiff-picture with such a load of details. *thumbs up*
And another point i want to mention is the way you have drawn that warmashine! It's appeariance is so authentic and the details on it's surface are great work! It's awesome... really awesome!
Such a great piece of work needs a fav for sure! Great job!
