I've been on a huge mud puppy/siren/amphiuma kick recently. Ironic since this is also prime weather for our little mudpup friends!
I nabbed that red maple lead right before the colour change, and I was super surprised to find it still retaining the original colours that I found it in! Nature is awesome, except for the fact that dried pond cypress branchlets simply do not hold together well. Boo.

Oh man, check out those delicious little falanges/ear things. I kind of wish people had those now 8C. People: nature's least colourful design.
His little dot eyes and swirly elbows are also REALLY GREAT. Man, your art always inspires me so much. I don't say it nearly enough, but your work is probably some of my favorite out of all artist I know and know of. I've even decided to try our watercolours again because of you. LULZ will follow.

NO JOKE. Where are our fascinating appendages?! Watercolours are a damn blast. They're so loose and have such a mind of their own! I can't wait to see what you do with them, as I generally get a boner when I see what you do with colour. There are a couple more beefy species of mudpups out there with really fleshy mouths that are very manatee-like! I only wish that one day I get a mudpuppy hicky from a big floppy-mouthed pup.

on a side note involving the tree leaf, that only when witnessed within plants could pain be so colorful, as within all other beings it is wrenching to the heart to view such things with great sorrow.
