ANother bit of background: in the same paragraph of Zuki's bio where it mentions these two, it also mentions that her best friend, Maisy, seems to suspect something is up because she never misses an opportunity to "accidentally" trash their van. Now, this time she's about as accidental as a sniper hit, but it DOES save the strip from becoming an installment of "Sexy Losers" (which, BTW, is one of the most offensive and hilarious strips I read...if you have a strong stomach and a stronger sense of humor, check it out [link] )
Kinda crude and anti-climactic, I know (BaDUMbum), but it got a laugh from the regulars on the NMI boards, which is ultimately what they were all about.
