After a year and a half seeing this huge bloated yokai spirit I finally did a picture of Mujina to hopefully get him to a wider (he he get it wider as in he's fat) noticed. He's from the anime ‘InuYasha’.
‘Mujina’ means ‘Badger’ in Japanese and in Japanese folklore Mujina is a shape shifting yokai much like Tanuki and in this episode ‘The final act’ where he took the form of a young lady to get InuYasha’s energy from his sword. InuYasha find realises as all is not as it seems so he punches the girl to reveal a giant, overweight, middle aged Badger/Mujina in disguise. If I got something wrong forgive me as I’ve never seen the show.
For InuYasha fans out there!
Don’t bark at me for not watching the show. I’m sure it’s brilliant but I can’t relax therefore I stick to what I know. It kinda reminds me of Naruto but doesn’t look as borning and the main hero looks cooler.
Also don’t be on my cause for focusing on one character (Mujina). I just love furry animals and found this character while looking up Yokai. I am really into Japanese culture so don’t think I’m trying to turn this anime Disney. If I ever drew Inuyusha I’d draw him the way he is and not modifie it. I just have a love for animal characters and thought his mistakes need improving so here it is.
