That is freakin' cute. You really captured the personality with the body pose and the expression. You did a really good job with this.
If you are looking for tips for improvement, you are out of luck with me, I don't see anything that really needs improvement with this artwork. Great job!

I'm actually having a hard time thinking of a way to describe how it feels to see a beloved character brought so vividly to life... 'strangely moving' is the phrase that keeps popping into my mind. I guess as a writer I'm not used to actually seeing what's going on in my head. Really, I couldn't be more delighted with the personality and charm you've given to Scruffy (and it certainly doesn't hurt that you captured him almost exactly as I've always imagined). Kudos. :3

This reminds me of 'Stranger Than Fiction', when the character the writer is writing about comes to visit her, and she totally whigs out.
