Saw Apocalypto last weekend and then had a discussion about how/why the Spanish discovered the Americans in my American History to 1877 class... So I felt the need to reflect in art.

The palomino represents the conquistadors and the black jaguar the natives.

The red things.. are tomatos, cause I thought it was neat that tomatos where brought to Europe from the Americas, despite how we think of spaghetti and such as being Italian food. :D
