Wow, does this ever make me feel OLD, where else do you see VHS these days?

Nowhere except for Thrift stores and Yard Sales. And of course Ebay.

People nowadays would hear the term "VHS" and go, "What the hell?" LMAO.

Imagine if you mentioned 8 Track? My Dad had one in his car.

Haha wow, there's a term I haven't heard in YEARS! My aunt used to have 8 tracks, but she never played them when I was at her house.

I only watched it back in those days to hear Rowdy Piper crack his insults. I miss those days.

Who in their right mind would want to pay $60 for a 2 hour fracas with guys in their underwear fighting each other so sluggishly?

Wrestling is like Religion. The only good thing that comes out of either pastime is the music. The entrance themes.

Actually it's 4 hours on two tapes. Hogan and Andre were definitely sluggish but there were a lot of great wrestlers like "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Brett "The Hitman" Hart, and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.

I saw Wrestlemania at Empire theaters a few years back, it cost $38 I think, about the same price as the DVD when it came out, I was better off saving my money and buying the DVD. I guess VHS was expensive at the time, I remember how expensive DVD was when it first came out.

I can almost top that. I have, locked away safe and sound, the original 9 disc LASERDISC box set of the original star wars trilogy (dont know the cost since I got it on Ebay), and with it is the orogonal widescreen VHS box set with all three movies plus the MAKING OF THE SAGA tape and the book. Now hows that for old???

Beta? That's a while back. Never had those growing up but I remember Dad's first VCR was a Top loader that probably cost him $500. I don't know, I was too young then to think of stuff like that. Raccoons and the Lost star brings back memories.
