I made..... another fursona....
Well okay, I guess she kind of has a purpose? All my other "sonas" are more based on facets of my personality and ended up morphing into their own characters. But she's just me, anthropomorphized into a derpy yellow elephant. (rationalizing but whatever haha I like her).
I love elephants so much though, seriously. I collect them and have since I was a child, pretty much. I have a lot of fond memories of them because my grandma, (we called her Mee-Mee) had a lot of fancy ones she got as gifts from one of my aunts who used to be a missonary and travelled all over the world. I used to love to look and play with them... there's one that's supposed to be carved out of ebony (prolly not true though), a beautiful red one that has kind of Indian henna style carvings all over it, and a clear glass one.
When my grandmother passed away a few years ago, she'd made sure those elephants went to me because she knew I loved them so much. I was pretty close with my grandmother considering how often me and my brother used to be at her house, so when I think about it I guess they're some of my most treasured possessions.
dang wasn't expecting to get all sentimental about elephants, how I feel a little weird knowing I made a dirty version of this refsheet.... ` ะด`

Q UQ AHHH AHH same here! In that giant wall of text up there i kinda babbled about how elephants are so sentimental for me because *my* grandma collected them too, and I inherited her collection when she passed away! but yes yes please do, hug away~ hohoh.
And oh goodness, well whenever you got an idea feel free to hit me up! :D I love designing characters and doing refsheets, and lord knows I need the money anyway haha.

I like your furry designs based on statues/figurines/objects (I'm referring to this, the goldfish bowl girl, and piggy bank girl you did when I say that) and I always find candy themed things interesting asflksadjfsadf
anyway this fursona is adorable and I know how it feels to make characters with the intent of them being fursonas and they just sort of split off into their own characters... I think this has happened to me with two characters so far.

;u; Ahhh thank you very much! Well I love making character based off of objects and I have a TON of ideas still, so there is definitely more to come. Anthropomorphism in general is just an interesting concept, not just animals being given human traits, but anything. I love stuff like object heads and monster girls, so taking all of that inspiration and shoving it into a blender is much more satisfying then simply trying to make a lot of different sparkly colored animals! And yeah, IDK why but candy/food themed creatures are always really awesome too! Delicious AND adorable. Q 3Q
Yeah it really seems like I can't help but give my characters backstories, y'know? They start out as 'me'. and then I start imagining them in their own worlds and they just kinda drift away from their original purpose. I still love them, but it gets harder to use them as a personal avatar, yanno?

Thank you! U uU Yellow and orange are two of my favorite colors, and somehow NONE of my characters have it in their color schemes...
I also really love elephants and other types of unusual species, especially the big ones like rhinos and hippos! They could all definitely use more love in the furry community! U uU
