Here the Hylian and the Sheikah are working together to replenish their supplies for in this age of Hyrule walking into a store is simply not an option. The terror and destruction plaguing the world is vast, the inhabitants of Hyrule scattered, living their lives in fear.
Link and Sheik must rely on themselves and each other for everything.
The two surviving warriors live a rough life on the edge of existence, at the moment they have taken up camp in the Lost Woods. Danger follows them everywhere so they have taken to the trees so as to avoid attention and give themselves a better chance at being alerted to danger as they focus on the task of crafting new arrows, the heads hand-made of stone, access to proper ones crafted of metal dried up long ago.

This alternate ending is a whole new 11 chapters that vastly differs from the original ending half, this ending can be read as a stand alone/without reading the whole fanfic as long as you understand ooT and Majora's Mask as well as my reasoning behind the Fierce Deity Mask's true form.
