Ok, so now I know that he was from Earthbound. The thing is: the only things about Earthbound that I know about other than what you just told me is that it starred Ness, that there is a location in that game called Onett, and that the game was called 'Mother 2' in Japan.

I know they translated his name over as 'Pokey' in Earthbound, but I just can't see him as anything but Porky...especially since in Smash Brawl, they did properly translate his name over.
