Haha, great job Rob! Given the fur color, you could probably explain him as some sort of combined DNA clone of Fox and Wolf if you wanted. It would certainly make some shippers h appy.

I love the little gun "pew" and the flip. When he lands on the right his boots kinda flip around in an odd way, like they're facing left then quickly switch to right then left again. while his head faces left.

I remember noticing that in the rough sketch stages. I think it's partly a result of the way Fox's model in Brawl transitions between animations.
