Some kind of cat named Moonchaser...I started writing a story at some point about a bunch of them, but stopped...I really need to get back to it, but I struggle with plot.
Stags are respected among the cat prides for their courage and strength, basically since cats can be killed by them on the hunt, and so each cat strives to kill one and only one during their lifetime. They wear the antlers upon their back during pride meetings or while traveling long distances (the sharp edges can help carry things, or a mother with cubs could fashion a kind of hammock from the antlers with ferns or hide woven between them for her cubs to rest in whilst traveling.)
