The birth of the CMC Super Squad!
Naw, not really. This was for the MLPG draw event, Day 2, in which we show one of the various ways the CMC are trying to get their cutie marks; this being them trying to become super heroes.

First thought is something on the humorous side, at least to me: a blushing alicorn Twilight between Luna and Celestia as they fight over her for romantic reasons (maybe who gets to date her first) like a pair of sibling foals. Does that sound like something you would enjoy drawing, or shall I try again? Or is that too complicated anyway?
Hm. Okay, next thought is something with Twilicorn and Cadence. Semi-romantic cuddling comes to mind, maybe as Twilight is reading (personally find the two of them getting together in future centuries to be more likely than Twi getting with Celestia, like many fans seem to). Only two characters, basic concept. Does that sound good?
Yeah, X-men is Marvel.
The bad thing is, the most popular characters have multiple series running at one time. I think Batman takes the cake for this, having... like, seven titles (Batman, Batman Inc. Batman and Robin, Nightwing, Red Robin, Batwoman, Batgirl, etc.) Green Lantern has like... four at the moment I think. Spiderman has four or five. Lord help you when there's a crossover.
A friend of mine really likes Green Latnern: New Guardians. Tht's an ongoing series.
For a specific arc: Batman: Death of the Family was one I really liked. It portrayed Joker as genuinely evil and cruel, instead of the frustrating anti-villian or even anti-hero portrayals people cling to. I would wait for trade paper backs though, since its a story that stretches through, like, twenty issues I think.

I could also *cough* use the internet *cough* to find them. The only comic series I've had experience in were the Alien comics, Sandman, Wintermen, Animal Man, a large chunk of Green Lantern Corps, We-3, and a few random ones recommended to me.
I have all of Judge Dredd, I just need to read them. Was also thinking of jumping into some classic Turok comics.
