Thai Peanut Pork Loin
NOT FURRY if it weren't obvious.
Now then. For those who don't know, I am a Culinary Arts student in Pittsburgh. That means I make delicious food.
What we have here is one of my absolute favorite plates, partly because the picture came out really well. I didn't take it, which may explain it. It was taken by a photography student, who had a tripod, but I digress. It's from about a year ago, and my skills have improved since then.
I made everything on the plate. This was my entry into the "Girl Scout Cookie Competition" our school runs every year. Students need to be in one competition before they can graduate, so I went with the easy one because I'm lazy :D. Now then, let's go onto the food.
The centerpiece is my Thai Peanut Pork Loin. It was seared, then coated in a spicy peanut butter mix, including the filling from a Do-Si-Do cookie (my cookie of choice for the competition, and one of my favorites), then coated in cookie crumbs and parsley, then baked til crispy and delicious. The sauce is that same filling, thinned out slightly to be less viscous. I also have some Curry Rice Pilaf, and stir-fry veggies served with it. The little design was supposed to be the logo of the World Girl Scouts organization, but it got covered up.
If anyone asks, I still have the recipe. It was delicious, and simple really. That's what I try to do with my food, my philosophy of food if you will. Simple and delicious. I know I'm lazy, so I don't want to take hours to cook things. And I want them to taste good.
Sorry to make y'all drool, also :3.

If you're a culinary person, then it'd mean something to you if I said that the recipe started out as a Rack of Lamb Persillade.
Thanks for the comment, and that's why I uploaded it :3. It was the best and cleanest picture of my plate. Some other ones have some crumbs showing in the back, which I should probably photoshop out...>>.
