I was playing around with Photoshop and came across auto tone, auto color, and auto contrast.
I REALLY like what these settings do! I REALLY like how this piece looks using those features (I used autotone on the shading and auto contrast on the whole piece) and I can notice a significant difference. I may play around with other pieces to see what it does as well!
This piece may change or be deleted depending on approval from the commissioner.

With the background and characters on their own final layers, I tend to use the Auto______ functions but often they go a bit too far. Whether I used the Auto or just the levels and Hue/Saturation can really enhance the image.
If you want to have some real fun with the FX, right after you do the Auto _____ function, go over to the Edit menu and choose Fade {Auto whatever). You can reduce the intensity of the Auto____ or even try a different blend mode.
Burt Monroy, a photoshop, expert would say at the end of his Podcast, "Don't be afraid to play with Photoshop. It's the best way to learn it's features." It's how I learnt it.
