PSN: Ryusuta

Everyone knows the blue robotic hero, Megaman. The tales of his crusades against the evil Dr. Albert Wily are numerous. And it was only to be expected that he would make his first appearance among some of Capcom's best in Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of the superheroes.

What fewer people know is that Megaman has a little sister named Roll. Roll was never designed to be a fighting robot. In fact, she was made to tend to chores around the house the way Megaman was before he was changed. But this little household robot had something to prove; to her older brother, to the world, and to herself. Entering herself into the tournament in secret, Roll arms herself with a tiny, removable arm canon she hides in her boot, and although she is the youngest, smallest, and least powerful of the fighters from a physical standpoint, she seeks to prove that even the underdog can shock the world!

A little quick back-story here. 15 years ago, I played Marvel vs. Capcom 1 in the arcades. A lot. In fact, everyone seemed to. In the game, there is a secrets hidden character named Roll, who is Megaman's younger sister. Roll was added into Marvel vs. Capcom as a sort of joke character, and is considered to be the worst character in the game.

However, for 15 years, I've felt that Roll has gotten a bum rap and is in fact a very capable, dangerous character in her own right. With the advent of Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, I have another chance to team up with my favorite fighting game character and show that there is so much more to the joke character than someone might guess! I'm not the best player and she's not the best character, but we've both got something to prove!
