I remember when this dream was a child
I remember when it was so close to be true
I remember when the dream grew up
And with the dream, I grew up too
I remember when the dream, it fell
And in its wake I no longer stood
Lying where the dream once lived
If I could take it back again, I would
But the light had shone right through the dark
I remember how it wiped my fears from me
Such hope the dark could never stop
And light my life would always see
I remember that light as I stood again
