I thought I'd mix it up a bit on this one.
It's been a while since I've drawn a gryphon, so it was rather fun. I feel rusty, but that's what practice is for!
I'm still rather pleased with the finished result of this piece, though. The canvas was a nice change of pace, after so many landscape sized pieces.

And, I agree.
These speedpaints aren't all going to turn out, but they're a great way to practice. That's one of the things that I just had to accept when I started doing these. It's tough to practice the things that I'm not as good with, sometimes.
