Remember when I had that MLP Ask blog? Ever since I've set it to rest, I've been wanting to revive it again. It gave me the joy that no other artistic pursuit had ever given me. For the most part, because I had taken meaningless background ponies and given them a meaning all my own. I made up an intricate world for them, and gave them deep personalities.
The whole reason I left Bronies is because I felt like it was making me illegitimate (and being a furry isn't, fag). I know that Hasbro digs fanart, and doesn't mind that others are capping on their success, but it just didn't feel right to be doing this.
I've contemplated it multiple times; making my old renditions of Lyra, Bonbon and Tootsie Flute, but in an original way. (see: 50 Shades of Gray) After all, the models were just background fillers, and the characters I molded were hella far off from fanon.
So I did a furry version of Tootsie Flute, now and hereafter: Elise.
