Had a dream about these two. The setting was steampunk, and they were con artists/Hitmen. Just had to doodle them, even if I don't ever do anything with them. Really love how Helena turned out--she's so cute! Brutus was supposed to look Greek/Italian. His eyes are glowy because he's a beastman, meaning he can turn into a feral creature at will (he's a panther).
The story was set in an underground megacity that my wife and I created to write and RP in. She uh . . . she likes Brutus . . .

I have an urge to do a very short five or six page comic with the two of them. Helena invites one of their targets up to her room to "see my pussy". Obviously, he was not expecting to see a three hundred pound bigcat. XP I dunno, we'll see. I'm slowly getting back on the horse after having a particularly painful IBS spasm.
We'll see. Critiques are welcome. I know Brutus looks like Penn, from Penn and Teller. That's what he looked like in my dream, so . . . nrb!

Sweetie, when I first started watching you, you couldn't have drawn that. Period. You didn't have the technical capacity. You're getting better by leaps and bounds. Your anatomy is solid, your characterization is absolutely lovely. Now to get you working on backgrounds and doing full-fledged illustrations for these characters.

Yes! I love doing backgrounds, but most people don't commission them because they don't have the money or the patience. I've already started on some pages of Ailen's comic, and there are backgrounds in it, but I haven't inked them yet (and at the moment, I don't know what flash drive they are on XD).
Thank you so much, though. You have a way of encouraging me that makes me feel like I can do it. You're right, I couldn't have drawn some of the things I do now when I first started out here. In part, I think I owe my skill to the community as well. The people here make me want to do better.
