There is a lot of info pertaining to this reference so bear with me:
Fenix is a FOO DOG he is a mixture of Big Cat and Canine.
First and foremost the items he is wearing
-Has a gauge piercing in both ears.
-Giant Malaa beads on his neck
-Large fighting gauntlets.
-Monk like outfit, he is a fighter/protector a guardian.
-Eyes are a bright blue
-Fenix has a Mohawk/Mane
-His Goatee is a chin strap it wraps all the way up to his sideburn like fur
NOTHING on Fenix is black, He is various shades of gray.
Fenix belongs to me he is my fursona this reference isn't for sale!

Yeah. It's like my art grows and so does he I guess. There is always that one thing i'm never fully satisfied with on him but I don't feel that with this one. Just that the ref is really blurry haha..

I gotcha~ Well he looks good :D I think the both the blue and the red beads look good on him though~ The red makes him look more bad ass, but I loved the friendliness of the blue you had. It's good when a character can work with different color accents like that, so you've got a good thing going with him :3
Haha maaaaaybe! I've been pondering it for a little while actually, and just haven't decided how I'd like everything to play out on him yet. Mostly with his tail and feet~
